Hudson Entry & Automation is a Canadian, Veteran-Owned company providing professional entry, security, and automation solutions across Southwestern Ontario. From commercial access control to automated gates, overhead doors, and pedestrian systems, we help organizations create safer, more efficient, and more secure environments.
Our name, Hudson, honours the Chesapeake Bay Retriever of our founder, Christopher Kennedy—loyal, gritty, protective, hardworking, water-loving, and stubborn. These qualities now define our company, as reflected in how we serve clients, support one another, and approach projects with commitment, resilience, and pride in doing things right, even when the task is challenging.
Hudson wasn’t just a dog.

Hudson Entry & Automation proudly supports commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities across Southwestern Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area, and Central Ontario up to Barrie.
Because different services have unique requirements, our coverage area is divided into three tiers:
Core Service Area
(1–1.5 hours from London)
Fast response • Cost-effective travel • Efficient scheduling
These services are primarily delivered within London, St. Thomas, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Stratford, Kitchener–Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Sarnia, Chatham-Kent, and surrounding regions:
- Locksmithing & door hardware
- Overhead doors & dock equipment
- Access control systems
- Security cameras & intercom systems
This zone ensures quicker dispatch times and reliable same-day or next-day service.
Extended Service Area for Specialized Systems (2–3 hours)
For high-security projects requiring certified experts
Clients frequently request Hudson’s expertise beyond the core radius, including Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Vaughan, Markham, Newmarket, and Barrie for:
- Gate automation
- Barrier arms & vehicle access systems
- Perimeter security
- High-security electronic entry systems
These systems require specialized training and are in limited supply across Ontario, which is why we are often brought in from farther distances.
Special Projects & Long-Distance Service Calls (4–7 hours)
When others cannot troubleshoot — Hudson can.
For facilities needing advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, or manufacturer-specific support, we regularly travel throughout Southern Ontario, Central Ontario, and the Golden Horseshoe for:
- Complex access control integrations
- Specialized gate operator issues
- High-security facility requirements
- Advanced automation troubleshooting
